Agnone – The Village of Bells

Just 40 minutes from Isernia, Agnone is a gem nestled among the hills of Molise, internationally renowned as the home of the Pontificia Fonderia Marinelli, the oldest bell foundry still in operation in the world. Here, for nearly a thousand years, bells have been crafted that ring out in churches and squares across the globe, making Agnone a symbol of tradition, craftsmanship, and culture.

Among the most exciting events to experience is the famous ‘Ndocciata, the evocative torchlight procession held every year during the Christmas season. This ancient tradition, with its spectacular display of fire and light, draws visitors from all over Italy, offering a magical and unforgettable experience.

Capracotta – The Mountain Village of Molise

Just 40 minutes from Isernia, Capracotta, situated at 1,421 meters above sea level, is one of the highest villages in central-southern Italy, perfect for mountain lovers in every season. In winter, it transforms into a snowy paradise, while in summer it offers panoramic trails and fresh air.
