Just 40 minutes from Isernia, Agnone is a gem nestled among the hills of Molise, internationally renowned as the home of the Pontificia Fonderia Marinelli, the oldest bell foundry still in operation in the world. Here, for nearly a thousand years, bells have been crafted that ring out in churches and squares across the globe, making Agnone a symbol of tradition, craftsmanship, and culture.
Among the most exciting events to experience is the famous ‘Ndocciata, the evocative torchlight procession held every year during the Christmas season.
